    Auction description:
    1975 JAGUAR E-TYPE V12 ROADSTER
MUCH MONEY SPENT & GOOD HISTORY FILE
    Lot 82
    Status NOT SOLD
    Estimate £21000 - 24000
    Mileage 43087
    Colour BLUE
    Trim Colour TAN
    Chassis No 1S2588BW
    Engine No 7S13448SH
    Registration HUC900N
    CC 5343
    M.O.T AUG 2007
Finished in dark blue with tan hide upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in "good" overall condition. Reportedly treated to various new components including "rear discs / shock absorbers, new water pump and ignition conversion kit costing over ú1,600" since entering the current ownership three years ago, 'HUC 900N' is believed but not warranted to have covered just 43,087 miles from new. That said, the low odometer reading would appear to be at least partially substantiated by the comparative lack of wear to its interior and a stack of old MOT certificates. Riding on steel wheels and equipped with automatic transmission, this handsome V12 E-type roadster is offered for sale with history file, MOT certificate valid until August 2007 and road tax until September 2006.

HERE FOR AUCTION IS A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF A VERY LATE SERIES 3 V12 'E' TYPE ROADSTER, IN FACT, BEING FIRST REGISTERED IN MARCH OF 1975 MUST MAKE IT ONE OF THE LAST MADE, THIS CAR IS UNBELIEVABLY SOLID AND I CANNOT FIND ANY EVIDENCE OF ANY STRUCTURAL REPAIRS TO THE UNDERSIDE WHATSOEVER, IT APPEARS TO STILL HAVE THE FACTORY UNDERSEAL COATING, THE ONLY RUST I CAN FIND IS JUST A LITTLE ISOLATED BLISTERING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DRIVERS DOOR AND OTHER THAN A COUPLE OF MINOR CHIPS TO THE PAINTWORK THIS CAR LOOKS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, THE INTERIOR LOOKS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL, THE DOOR CARDS HAVE SOME VERY MINOR DEFORMATION AND THERE IS A TINY MARK ON THE BASE OF THE DRIVERS SEAT ABOUT THE SIZE OF A 5P, OVERALL THE CAR LOOKS MAINLY ORIGINAL AND WHILST NOT PERFECT LOOKS JUST FANTASTIC THE WAY IT IS ONCE AGAIN DUE TO IT'S ORIGINALITY, THE HOOD HAS BEEN REPLACED RECENTLY AND IN GOOD SHAPE, THEN WE GET DOWN TO DRIVING THIS BEAST, WELL, IT SOUNDS JUST LOVELY WITH THAT V12 ROAR !!! IT HAS A NEW STAINLESS EXHAUST EXITING THROUGH ORIGINAL STYLE QUADRUPAL FANTAIL PIPES, I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT DRIVES AS NEW, FORTUNES HAVE BEEN SPENT ON THE MECHANICAL UPKEEP OF THIS CAR AND I HAVE THE INVOICES TO PROVE IT, I ALSO HAVE DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE PLUS OLD MOT'S THAT LEAVE ME IN NO DOUBT AT ALL THAT THE MILEAGE IS ABSOLUTELY GENUINE,

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
