Sellers comment:
The car was acquired by my father-in-law a few years
ago, so he was not the original owner. The car was his hobby and he took excellent care of the car (garage maintained) and had it professionally serviced. I have a folder with receipts from the services that he had performed on the car.
Unfortunately, my father-in-law passed away last summer. My mother-in-law made the decision to sell the car.
I am not a Jaguar collector or expert, so am likely not the best person to answer efinitively detailed questions about the car. I am also not the owner of the car and do not have definitive data on
service history prior to my father-in-law's ownership.
The odometer of the car says around 44,000 miles. I am not sure if this is the accurate mileage, but it certainly could be (based on the condition of
the car). The car also appears to me (again, as a non-expert) to be generally unmodified.
If you are interested I would suggest scheduling a visit to examine the car in detail for yourself. From my non-expert's perspective the car is in excellent condition and worth the effort of a careful inspection by a knowledgeable buyer.
