Sellers comment:
Vehicle Description- Very clean V12 E-type Roadster which has never been abused. Beutiful Red exterior (original color) with Tan hides. Only 46K miles since new. The engine compartment is unmolested with all the proper emission hoses, air pump, vacuum hoses, clips, added battery cut-off switch, to protec will in storage. Even the spare key is still located on the firewall! Automatic transmission, air conditioner, power steering and like new chrome wire wheels.
Interior- Overall very nice. No rips on the leather ... not even the rip typically found when the seats are not raised before lowering the top. Soft top is in very good condition with clear rear window. Radio is a AudioVox cassette in working order. All gauges, switches, lights and even the clock are working.
Body- No signs of rust or accidents. The car was repainted in 1997 with a bare metal respray. This was not a "quickie" paint job, as you can see from the photos below the bonnet, doors and trunk lid were removed and the car was stripped of all exterior paint. The original floor pans are in excellent shape and the sub frames still show the original paint. The engine compartment is clean and correct. The bonnet and doors have very good gaps. The paint is very nice. Chrome and glass are very good. The boot (trunk) has the proper material, jack, hammer, knock off tool, covertible boot cover, original owners manual 1973!
Mechanicals: Original matching number engine, starts right up with the pull of the choke and runs well. Great oil pressure, transmission shifts effortless, brakes work well, no fluid leaks, cooling fans cycle normally. Has Koni shocks all-round great ride. Ready to be enjoyed!
