On eBay 25.7.11 £25,000 1 bid reserve not reached.

Built in 1969 ,she is a series 2 roadster, red with cream leather interior. Sent to California, she was reimported in the late 80s,and converted to right hand drive..Since then she has had 3 owners. One mainly since 93.Thanks to living in sunny weather she has stood the test of time superbly. In approximately 1990 she had a light restoration and respray which has developed into a lovely patina.I have mot's from the late 90's showing her millage at 50,000.With mot's showing only a hundred miles some years, she has now reached 52700. The origional interior is finished in cream leather with cream carpets. Body work in red. There a few very small blemishes but hardly noticable. Chrome work and wire wheels are all good, the headlight bezels have a few small dents but only minor. Underneath is very solid, one cill has been replaced. There is a small crack in the windscreen, nothing that affects the mot and again only minor.I have a 5 speed gearbox that i will sell seperatly but with first option to a purchaser. I intended to do the swop this winter.Second gear is a bit notchy when she is cold and alot easier then after. Fuel consumption and longer journeys would be much better with a five speed so it seemed the natural way to go.

This is a car you can jump in without hesitation and do a 500mile journey. She runs very sweet, accelerates amazingly and could certainly give the boy racers a run for there money. Very unmolested, you could pick little faults all over, she is not concourse but i am always happy to park in a line of e types and get endless admiring looks. VIEWING HIGHLY RECOMENDED. I have the car advertised else where so reserve the right to remove at any time.
