If you want an affordable E-Type restoration project or a vintage race car, this is your car. It is located about 90 miles northeast of the AACA fall meet at Hershey, near Wilkes Barre, PA. If you are planning to attend that event, it would be the ideal opportunity to take a little time and inspect this car. If you buy it you could pick it up after the show.

Obviously this is a very rough car, but with the ready availability of replacement body panels and parts, this is still a viable undertaking. That being said, it is not one for the faint of heart. Study the photo's closely, what you see and the condition of all components is what you get.

The body shell is rough with dents, scrapes, previous repairs, and lots of rust. It needs complete floors, some of the firewall, the left rocker panel is bad, and the right rocker panel is useable with some work. THE CART UNDER THE SHELL IS NOT INCLUDED. Surprisingly the tire well is quite nice with only a few small holes near the outer edges at the fenders. The bonnet is mostly complete with some old work and rust, but fairly solid. Both doors are present, but of course they need repair. The windshield is included with some scratches and a small chip; there are no door glasses or mechanisms. We also have the trunk lid. The previous owner sourced the front frame from another car so it has a different number. Except for the rear 6 or 8 inches of the left lower outrigger, it is straight and solid.

There is a top frame, but the fabric needs to be replaced. Its original steering wheel, and a steering column and rack are here. Both seats are included and in rough condition. The dashboard has all of the gauges except one, and a useable dashpad. Other than a rough console, I don't have any other interior components. The fuel tank seems in resonable shape.

All 5 chrome wire wheel are present and in fair condition. They should clean up. Front and rear suspensions, and brake calipers and rotors are mostly complete, but they all need to be refurbished. No other brake parts are there.

I got the car without an engine or transmission, but I have included both from another Series 2 E-Type. These were removed some time ago from a running driving car. The engine is complete with alternator, starter, distributor, carbs, intake, and clutch. Their numbers are: Engine 7R10547-9, Trans KE11818. They both turn easily.

As I stated above, I have a title for this car, however, there is no VIN plate. You can order a replacement plate and have it stamped. The mileage listed above is the odometer reading, the title will state exempt in acccordance with federal regulations.
