Sellers description:
This beautiful 1969 Jaguar XKE is a California car we recently purchased from one of our customers. It is stunning to see with its wonderful silver paint and black interior. Since our purchase of the car, we have done all the little things to have the car mechanically match its beautiful cosmetic condition. The following was just completed in our shop: 1.Installed new stainless steel exhaust. 2. Rebuilt the Stromberg Zenith carbs. 3. Installed new fuel sender, turn signal flasher, fan otter switch, washer pump, trailing arm bushings, and replaced the door seals. This beauty passes PA state inspection. It has a new cloth top that is pristine. We also detailed the engine bay along with the carbs. The car even has the original Jaguar AM radio. The boot cover is new as well (as you can see from the pictures). The chrome is excellent, as are the wire wheels; no pitting whatsoever. To give you an idea of how nice this car is, one of our tech's is a JCNA judge and feels this car is 94-95 point car in the Driven Class and a 90-92 point car in the Concours Class. This car represents tremendous value in the collector car world today. If this were a Series 1, it would be a $70,000+ car. Our Reserve is just about half that.
