I am the second owner as sold by a dealer in New York having purchased the vehicle around 1984. Maintained original specifications and have extensively restored the car throughout with history and documentation. I have signed mailed letter documents from the Controller-Chassis Records Department of Jaguar on Browns Lane from 1986 including the original Jaguar Car Colour Guide for paint and fabric matching for proper restoration and this vehicle's delivery information from Jaguar.
Exterior: I just now again repainted the entire vehicle with hand rubbed nitrocellulose lacquer sable brown paint. All chrome restored by Paul's Chrome Plating,Inc. in Evans City Pennsylvania. Cooper Classics Ltd. in New York City restored the interior including the carpeting, all panels including rocker panels, floor panels, seals on doors, trunk, windows, bumpers both front and rear. Mechanically in excellent condition. Frame and Floor condition, is in excellent condition and without rust. New shocks and suspension upgrades. Borla Custom fitted stainess steel exhaust. New brakes graphite Mercedes for excellent stopping and control. New brake lines. The original roadster top was replaced by Cooper Classics Ltd. with a superior Mercedes grade quality West German Import.
Radio is Mitsubitshi Stereo Cassette Tape Deck AM_FM with 2 speakers installed in their original locations.
Dayton Wire Wheels in Dayton, Ohio restored wheels to show condition. Excelent Pirelli tires fitted on original 72 spoke wire wheels with extra spare in truck and two extra tire/spoke wheels available.
The Stromberg 175 CD2SE (twin) carburetters were repaced many years ago with the more popular 3 SU carburetters with the power train having advanced improvements in electrical ignition circuitry and other necessary changes such as for accomodating the unleaded fuels. The clutch was rebuild about 5,000 miles ago and remains in excellent condition. The original factory "setup" for carborators and pollution controls and other related components are saved stored and boxed if one desires to place the original factory specifications. Photos saved and available of original carburetters and setup components on engine.
The engine compartment is clean and components are stock. All instrument gauges are in proper working order.
The jag runs extremely well and handles extremely well.
All original jack, knock off tool and hammer, original owner's manual and rare Jaguar coventry documentation.
Always garaged in climate control conditions.
Price: $65,000 negotiable
