Current bid $3.3k (Reserve not met), 4 bids, 9 days left in auction, 46k miles on the odo.

    Sellers comment:
Car is white with a tan leather interior and the original wooden steering wheel. There are 5 wire wheels with 4 knock off spinners, a brass hammer and removal tool plus the original jack. No dents or wrecks. New tires, tubes, brake pads, shop manuals, new turn signal switch, carburetor diaphragms, distributer cap, rotor and points. Rebuilt (by me) master cylinder and wiper motor. Factory A/c and automatic transmission. We bought the car 4 years ago with the intention of restoring it. Drove it some but stopped that while restoring. Wife's poor health and worries force me to sell it to spend more time with her. Our loss, your gain.

    Vehicle Condition
All original and present except for 4.2L insignia on hatch and GM alternator substituted by a previous owner. Glass, lights, gauges and exterior body sound. Some rust in floorboards. No rust in rear storage area. Rubber seals on glasses are weathered as are the leather front seats, dash plastic, head liner and exterior paint. Back seat is fine. Drivers seat is split/torn along two pleats but is all there. Headrests need restuffing - look deflated. Exterior paint had some rust patches but no appreciable thinning and no perforations. Spidering and pitting of the original paint and body shaping putty in several locations. The rust spots, badly spidered shaping putty and the entire hatch were sanded to bare metal and primed with white Rustoleum primer. Later I primered the entire car with it for preservation reasons. The engine runs but needs valve seals and valve guides. It appears to have never been into. A/C needs recharging.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
