NUBMERS MATCHING 1969 Jaguar E-Type XKE 2+2 Series II Coupe in need of finishing up the restoration.

Besides being NUMBERS MATCHING CAR, This Jaguar comes with all desirable factory options like Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Automatic Transmission, and legendary and highly desirable 4.2 straight six cylinder engine!

Current owner owned it since 1995, and it was his pride and joy for the past 20 years! He started cosmetic restoration of this XKE few years ago, as he wanted to return it to its former glory. Car shows no signs of any accidents, and It was a solid car to start with, bonnet was nice and straight, paint was stripped, and any issues that the car had which were minimal were fixed. Included is a picture of the car and how it looked right before the restoration started.

Engine and transmission were rebuild about 10 years ago, but he only put about 1,000 miles on the car since mechanical restoration and drove it sparingly until he started cosmetic restoration couple of years ago. He wanted to finish it up, but his health condition prevented him from doing so and unfortunately from him, and fortunately for its new buyer this beauty is now offered for sale!

All this Jaguar needs now is for someone to paint it, and put the trim back together!

While body was getting prepped for the new paint, whole suspension including struts, control arms, ball joints was all overhauled and replaced as well.

This Jaguar is very solid and it makes a great candidate for a show quality restoration!!!

With a nice paint job back to its original and elegant Light Blue paint, refreshed interior this beauty will be turning heads in no time!!! This Jaguar is definitively an easy project with a great return on the investment!

Carburetors were rebuilt couple of years ago, and new gas tank was installed... Gas tank is clean and empty because car is still in restoration stage, BUT if you pour the Gasoline or Starting Fluid into the carburetors, Legendary 4.2 Straight 6 Cylinder Original engine just comes to life with its beautiful song!! It starts up with ease, and it purrs like a kitten!!!

This Jaguar has wonderful potential, and it is already a step in a right direction if you want to restore this car to your own standard! Rust buckets are selling for $15,000-$20,000, and beautifully restored cars are increasing in value rapidly pushing $60,000 mark, so you are already ahead with this car, especially as the number of these British Cats is decreasing with time! Throw in a numbers matching fully optioned car, and number of XKE's like this is even smaller, and potential on your investment is much stronger!
