cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll

Current bid $1k, one bid, reserve not met, 6 days left in the auction.

Sellers comment:

THIS IS AN INCOMPLETE RESTORATION. THE BODY HAS NEW ROCKERS, LEFT AND RIGHT FLOOR PANS, AND FRONT FOOT WELLS. REAR HATCH IS PAINTED TO MATCH BODY. DOORS ARE GOOD, BUT UNPAINTED. BONNET IS IN PIECES. HAS TWO NEW FRONT FENDERS. NEEDS UNDERBELLY PAN AND CENTER SECTION. ALL LIGHT FIXTURES, BUMPERS, AND BRIGHTWORK APPEAR TO BE THERE. FRONT AND REAR SEATS STILL TOGETHER. MOST INTERIOR PANELS ARE THERE. ALL GLASS LOOKS GOOD. MECHANICAL: REAR END HAS BEEN REBUILT WITH NEW LOCKS, SPRINGS, ROTORS, AND BEARINGS. FRONT END HAS NEW BALL JOINTS, BUSHINGS, SHOCKS, ROTORS, AND BEARINGS. MOTOR AND GEARBOX HAVE BEEN REBUILT. THIS PROJECT WAS PUT ASIDE DUE TO FAMILY OBLIGATIONS AND I HAVE NOW DECIDED TO SELL "AS IS".

Current bid $3,550 reserve not met, 9 bids, 6 days left ni auction.

Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar has been extensively restored. Under 1000 miles since complete rebuild. Restoration as follows:
Body redone. New floors. No rust.,
Painted Old English White
New Navy blue leather interior
New carpet, headliner, door panels, etc.
New full wire harness
Engine rebuilt
Carbs rebuilt
Transmission rebuilt
Rear end rebuilt
Brakes rebuilt
New Stainless exhaust
New Dunlop chrome wire wheels
Newer tires

Car is 99% done. Areas that need finishing:
Old English White paint is a fair paint job. Most people think it looks great. I must be picky.
Bonnet, Doors, and hatch need to be fitted better. I am not real talented at this.
Console needs to be installed.. I have the original AC unit and both consoles.
Temp gauge not original. It works but is chrome.

This was a restoration started by Upstairs Downstairs in Mansfield, OH. I knew the owner and bought the car un-finished. Most work (including all rebuilding) was done by professionals.

Private Party or Dealer: Private Party

Lot #194816

This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II 2+2 was refurbished in the mid-2000s and was listed on BaT in July 2023 before being acquired by the seller in January 2025. Finished in white over blue leather, the car is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a stainless-steel exhaust system, 15″ wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a louvered hood, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and an AM/FM radio. The seller repaired the lights and the tachometer, installed an oil-pressure gauge, and replaced the foam in the driver-seat cushion in early 2025. This Series II XKE is now offered with spare parts and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s name.

The car was repainted in white during the aforementioned refurbishment. Exterior equipment includes a louvered clamshell hood, a driver-side mirror, pop-out rear-quarter windows, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome-finished bumpers with overriders. The side-marker lights have been removed, and the front mounting holes have been filled. The windshield wipers are inoperable. The lower front fascia is dented, and the bumpers are pitted.

Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are secured by knock-off spinners and are mounted with 195/65 Goodyear Eagle GA tires. A full-size spare is stored in the trunk. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard rear rotors.

The 2+2 cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in blue leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpeting. Interior appointments include an AM/FM radio, three-point front seatbelts, a locking glovebox, and a heater. The foam in the driver-seat cushion was replaced under current ownership, and the electrical system and lighting were repaired, the seller tells us. An air-conditioning compressor is found under the hood, although the other components for the system have been removed.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The seller installed an Equus oil-pressure gauge and had the tachometer repaired. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller states that the engine produces an oil-pressure range of 45–50 psi and compression between 140–145 psi on all cylinders.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A stainless-steel exhaust system was installed under prior ownership.
