This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II 2+2 was refurbished under prior ownership and is finished in British Racing Green over tan leather. Power is provided by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked to a replacement five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a louvered clamshell hood, electric power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, replacement 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an AM/FM radio, and a heater. This XKE 2+2 is now offered in Canada by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records, a car cover, and a British Columbia registration document.
The car was refinished in British Racing Green under prior ownership, and exterior equipment includes sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes that the bumpers were re-plated in 2015.
The replacement 15″ wire wheels were installed in 2017, are secured by three-eared knock-off hubs, and are mounted with Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires measuring 205/65. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. An electric power steering system was installed in 2017.
The 2+2 cabin was reportedly re-trimmed under current ownership and features seating surfaces upholstered in tan leather along with a color-coordinated center console, headliner, door panels, and replacement carpets. Interior appointments include an AM/FM radio, a locking glovebox, and a heater.
The Raid wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 91k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller states a tune-up was performed in preparation for the sale.
A five-speed manual transmission was installed in 2016 and is linked to a limited-slip differential.
The vehicle does not have a title and is being sold on its British Columbia registration, which serves as the ownership document in British Columbia, Canada.
