Current bid $19,999.00 (Reserve met), 4 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Beautiful 1969 XKE Roadster in British Racing green with tan interior. This is an original 1969 Jaguar Series 2 XKE E-Type Roadster with only 48,000 miles!! I have owned the car for 15 years, driving it occasionally on nice days and keeping it dry in a garage. The previous owner had it 10 years and kept it dry.
This beautiful car has been stored in a garage and under a cover for over 25 years while being driven rarely. This car has not been restored but is very nice as is. It is a nice driver or the beginning of a great restoration project. My intention was to restore the car after the kids were out of college but have lost interest after buying a Z3. A heart-breaker to part with.
The car comes with a factory service manual, spare tire with wire rim, knock-off wheel remover and car cover.
Vehicle Condition
This Jaguar is in good overall condition. It starts up and runs strong. Engine has a slight lifter tap when running.
Body is in good condition and straight. The tires are old and worn and should be replaced. There were only two notable rust spots on the car, both have been removed with a rust inhibitor. One in the trunk behind the seat and another on the bottom of the driver side door.
Mechanical is good condition. You are invited to inspect the car yourself our have it inspected independently. The car does not have the original radio or a heater fan motor. The chrome and glass are in great shape. Paint looks good with some cracking on the trunk lid.
This jaguar will be a nice driver allowing you to restore at your convenience. The car looks great, drives, and runs good.
