Ebay item 6/16/15 www.ebay.com/itm/141694424881
Opening bid US $23,000 reserve not met no bids 6 days left in auction. 103k miles.
Sellers description:
This is a numbers matching, 100% rust free, low mileage Series II E-Type, that still has the original factory owners tag.
The car has the benefit from the option list of an Auto transmission and Air Conditioning (this will need charging).
The car also has it's very rare original Blaupunkt radio!
As you can see the car looks fantastic in its original color of Regency Red, with contrasting beige leather interior.
Apart from the rain gutters and side window frames, every piece of chrome trim and the bumpers are brand new.
Brand new leather throughout, including headrests (not fitted as I don't like headrests).
Lots of other new parts, far too many to list including a new set of Firestone tires.
The car does all it should, starts, stops, steers and goes backward and forward.
She could do with a new spare, as she still has her original red-line bias ply. This holds air but does show cracks from age. The wheel it's self is missing a few spokes. This can be repaired if you don't want to replace it.
The carbs have started to run out of tune. Strombergs are a bit of a black art to me, so these may need rebuilding or just re-tuning.
I don't have the time to address this, as I am shortly going to be deployed overseas and don't want to leave this with my wife to deal with.

This object is sold through the Berlin office
This coupé in regency red had a new paintwork some time ago, however, it is unrestored, and when taking a closer look the low mileage of 11,000 miles seems plausible: the long sidelines show no optical break on neither sideline, which means that sub frame and front hood are tight and accurately fitting, just as it is the case with the doors and the trunk lid. The overall condition is excellent and its technology likewise convincing - this E-Type 2+2 is the one-of-a-kind opportunity for Jaguar enthusiasts to get a good car with a distinguished appearance.
