Sellers description:
Beautiful Jaguar E type coupe in the rare Black / Black color combination. Purchased 2 years ago from a collector car auction where it was one of the stars of the show. It was an original car that had just had a sympathetic cosmetic restoration done just before coming to auction. It had a stunning repaint in black which is very deep, shiny and near flawless. The interior was completely redone with new black leather seats, door panels, carpet, hardura mats, headliner dash etc. It also had new chrome wire wheels which really make the car stand out and high end Pirelli P400 tires. While not perfect, it is an excellent looking car, that runs great. It sounds wonderful, has great oil pressure, does not smoke etc. The transmission works great, makes no noises and all the sycros work perfectly, no crunching or popping out of gear. It has just had a major brake refit with all new pads, rotors, hoses and even new rebuilt rear inboard brake calipers. Compaints? not much. The only thing that I would do is sort out a squeak that seems to be coming from one of the hood latches when you hit a large bump. I have not had it in due to work and time constraints which is why I am selling the car. Of course with any 40 year old car, sold as is where is with no guarantees as to condition or suitability for any use.
