Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E-Type Coupe

Offered here for your consideration and inspection is this 3 owner, rust free, Arizona Jaguar coupe. This E-Type has been stored, indoors, in Scottsdale, Arizona for the past 20+ years. It has been recently tuned and serviced and is now ready for action.

The body is in very good condition, with acceptable panel fit and closing gaps, and has had a respray in the original color many years ago. The paint finish is showing its age, with some checking. The forward portion of the bonnet, which is very vulnerable, appears to have never been damaged, The right door looks to have had some work over the years.

The interior is in very good condition with the seats recovered in tan vinyl some time in the past. All the instruments function and the factory a/c is intact and complete.

The 4.2 liter engine runs well and the transmission shifts well with no issues.

This would be an excellent restoration candidate or a formidable driver just as it is.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
