Ebay item 3/6/10 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-Coupe-Calif-Car-Low-Miles-New-Connolly ...
Current bid $10,000 reserve not met, 12 bids 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
XKE Series II Coupe, two-seater, nice older restoration with newer connolly leather. California car with zero rust. The engine pulls smoothly upon acceleration, sounds tight, oil pressure perfect. The transmission shifts as it should. A joy to drive. Original bonnet, sub-frames straight and unmolested. Battery box and floors solid. Not a concourse car, but a nice driver. I was told when I bought this car from the third-owner that the 44K miles are original. He bought it from the second owner who restored the car in the early 90's. During the restoration they did a color change: the car was completely disassembled and taken down to metal, so there is no sign of the original color. In many ways, the true two-seater coupe looks better than the roadster, and this black/tan color combo suits the style. view additional pictures at the following link: http://picasaweb.google.com/dustycars/1969JaguarCoupe#
