Matching numbers, air conditioning & triple SU's
Sold new in late 1968 to a John R Clayton of Lamarque, Texas, this numbers matching cream, left hand drive coupe found its way to Australia, where a restoration took place between 2009 and 2011. This included the fitment of the prettier series 1.5 bonnet. It received Queensland compliance on the 13th of July 2011.
Since 2017 invoices show the fitment of triple SU Carburettors, a new water pump, and a Scorcher electronic ignition system.
