Scruffy daily driver until 1989 or 1990. Withdrawn from serivce for mechanical repairs to trans, clutch, brakes, suspension. Not run since. Garaged. Bonnet off, front suspension partly disassembled. Hope to be back on the road some year.

Ground-up restoration at Lippincott's Garage (wonderful shop in Sinking Spring, PA) completed May 2013. A driver, not a show car. Modifications include: non-original dark red exterior, mostly original interior re-dyed black from dark blue, electronic ignition, covered headlights, 225 width tires, aluminum wheels on 5 lug hubs (formerly wires on splined hubs), 5-speed transmission, and triple Weber carbs.
The carbs are proving to be very problematic, likely switch back to original Strombergs.

Now a bit over 1 year out of the restoration shop. Roughly 3000 miles of driving so far. 5-speed trans has been a good modification, after break-in period of shifting mechanism. Much nicer on the interstates. Pertronix ignition has been trouble-free. Triple Weber 45 DCOE-9 carbs were a real nuisance due to bad info about float level. With that corrected, they work fine, EXCEPT starting circuit still needs work. Starting on a cold day is very difficult. Gas mileage on last highway trip was 20.9mpg. Antiquated ventilation system is biggest complaint. Retro-Air A/C system makes it livable on warm days.
