Reserve not met 11 bids 6 days left in auction, buy it now price $95,000. 25k miles.

    Sellers description:
This 1970 e-type OTS is an amazing motorcar. The car was from a small collection and was in a climate controlled garage and used only to maintain its unbelievable condition. The car has mainly original interior and it is excellent, we replaced the original door panels with perfect replacments because they were slightly warped.
But that is the only thing we did to the interior. This car even has the Toe Board that is usually missing. The everflex top is original and almost perfect, the rear window is slightly yellowed, but keeping the top with patina is more important. There is no rust on this car, it has the original wheels and all original chrome. All gauges and mechanical items work as designed except for the air conditioning. There is no belt and no freon in the system. It is originally a rare air conditioned 4 speed car, but the a/c does not work at this time. All of the components are in place but the belt.

The paint has some small cracking if you look really close on the bonnet, it may have been painted at one time but the color match is professional and correct primrose. There does not appear to have any repairs at all any place on the cars body and as mentioned, no rust.

The car has had the following recently performed.

New stainless exhaust system by Bell frt to back

New tires, new tubes and excellent original wheels all detailed.

New brake , fluid bottles and new clultch resevoir, new clutch hydraulics.

the differential was checked drained and flushed, the brakes are all safety checked. This car has new hoses, new fluids, recent professional tune up.. carburetors balanced and all new filters. The suspension is tight, no rattles, it runs great, the car has an aluminum radiator, an updated cooling fan, it runs cool and dependably.

This car is all ready to go... it was just at a show last weekend and ran superbly and had a crowd gathered. You can't create a low mileage car....

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
