Ebay item 10/6/07 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1970-Jaguar-XKE-Roadster-A-C-30k-miles-Mus ...
Current bid $20,100 reserve not met, 7 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This jaguar was accepted in trade for a new Viper from a customer in Georgia. It has 30k actual miles on it and has been completely restored by the previous owner. No expense spared.
One of the nicest and most handsome XKE Convertibles on the market. It has the very rare XKE A/C and it blows cold. If you're picky and are tired of looking at "edgy" over-priced cars, this car should be an easy car to finally select.
The turbo unit installed on this car is the first I've seen but is apparently designed to fit this motor. I googled it and come up blank. Looking closely at the installation, it's obvious that the unit was professionally installed. I, like many of you, prefer bone stock classic cars especially if they are British made cars. But this turbo makes this car so fun to drive it's hard to pick on it. It does appears to be something that was installed in the factory. 20 years from now you may be able to convince the younger crowd that indeed it was original and way ahead of it's time. Anyway, wishful thinking for us old schoolers. The good news is you will be able to change it back to factory original fuel delivery specs if you can't live with modifications. But do me one favor before you do. Look closely at the hardware and installation... and then drive it. If you're getting this car to drive and have fun with, you'll keep it on there. If you don't want it, please call me and I'll buy the turbo unit from you.
As for the rest of the car it has been EXTREMELY well preserved and then restored to bring it to showroom condition. We guarantee you will love this car. The paint, body, interior, chrome, glass, engine, drive train, top, interior, the entire car is in excellent condition. It's a # 2 car plus! Have the original spare, jack, knock-off wheel tool and hammer.
