I was a previous owner of this car from approx. 1979 - 1986, it is a shame to see this car in such need of TLC, the car was restored including a complete new bonnet (imported from England) by Simpson & Kendrick Coachworks. A complete detailed diary of the work with supporting pics was passed on to the next owner. I still have some doc' s & pics of this car should a new owner be interested in receiving them. The car won best in show for series 2 in 1983 at the Ontario Jaguar spring event at the Guild Innn in Scarborough. I can provide the history of the car as far back as the original owner.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
