Ebay item 4/12/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $1,000.00 (Reserve not met), 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
We are listing this for my brother. This is a 1968 Jaguar XKE in good condition. It has a 6 cylinder engine with 2 carburators (earlier models had 3). Odometer reads 70,614 miles but is not working, he has no idea of real milage. He bought the car in the Houston area a year ago and kept it in my garage since then. I now need the space and he has decided to sell it. The car runs and drives but needs carburators fixed. For what I understand about engines (and it is not much), it is letting too much gas to the engine, also one of the carburators was leaking gas, he put a temporary sealant which will probably not last long. The car looks good and very original, previous owner replaced leather and tires he also replaced water pump before delviering the car to my brother. New battery will be installed. The car is sold as is where is, we are not car dealers.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
