Listed for sale at www.garagekeptmotors.com. "This is a 1968 Jaguar XKE 2+2 4.2L Series 1.5. It is the first year of the uncovered headlights, new dash, new braking system and the last year of the old(more desirable) rear end. This car was bought new by a Harvard and Wharton Business School graduate who owned the car until his untimely death 3 years ago. It truly has 25,216 original miles and was always garage kept. The seats were covered with sheep skin covers since new and the interior is all original and in remarkable condition. The car is a four speed with rare air conditioning(not currently operable). The car has had one repaint and needs to be done again. The chrome should be addressed as well. The rust in the floor on the drivers side was inelegantly, but functionally, repaired with an exterior metal patch and a new metal tray lining the front drivers floor. It can be kept as is and enjoyed as a survivor, but deserves a sympathetic restoration. This vehicle is being offered for sale through Garage Kept Motors LLC.
