    Ebay item 11/6/06
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1968-Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-Series-1-5-2-2-Coup ...
Opening bid $14,000, no reserve, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
An incredible example of the 1968 Jaguar XKE Series 1.5 2+2 Coupe 4.2Litre, car # 1E78779 with 20,531 miles. This Jaguar is a show car and can be entered today in many events with zero preparation. Over $25k in restoration costs has put this Jaguar into a class of its own.

    This Car:
I have owned this car for a short period of time. I bought it to win local and regional events but due to family issues I must sacrifice and sell it. The previous owner did a complete restoration on this Cat. Deep burgundy paint looks as if it were dipped yesterday. Brand new black leather interior comfort you on the inside. It has always been garaged, has no rust and will complete any collection. This Jaguar runs great, the engine is strong and is easy to drive. Before I bought it the car was tuned and in top shape. I was told, as with most Jaguars, the clutch will need to be replaced at some time but currently is still strong. The engine idles great and oil pressure stays high. This Jaguar is fast; it turns heads and gets compliments anywhere it goes. The engine compartment is clean and tidy. Like all Jaguars the engine is easy to get to, tune, work on, or show off. All windows and doors have new weather stripping and this Jaguar does not leak. New dual exhaust sounds great and is in the customary center rear exit position. The dash is in great shape and all gauges and lights work. New tan upholstery makes you feel you are in a new car. This Jaguar is located in the Seattle Washington area, zip 98383.
