1968 Jaguar XKE. It is a Series 1 1/4. This is due to the fact that a very small number of Series 1's were produced with the open headlights, making this a very rare car. It is a 2+2 coupe with a Borg Warner automatic transmission. The engine is the 4.2 L. Partially restored in 1998 with a new paint job, new interior, new spoke rims, new cooling system, new brake boosters, and the head was chromed. 66,212 original miles with only 500 coming after the partial restoration. The car is in good condition and runs well.

car has been in the shop and had the following done as it was not a high quality driver as advertised.....front suspension done, new heater, rear brakes done-incl handbrake which was not connected, transmission had but one forward speed and now after obtaining both cables for it (as they were both broken or missing) transmission runs fine, new tires obtained as tires on it had tread but severe cracks in the tread area...various other small misc items also replaced and renewed.
