This Jaguar e-type we just aquired from a gentleman in Florida who has owned it since 1982. He drove it sparingly until deciding to remove the trim and do a re-paint (the original color is Primrose Yellow) As you can see he stalled out and did not complete it. the good thing is that I have all of the trim/ headlights/ and misc items (pictured) that came off, and the car is almost ready for paint.
It last ran and drove about 2 years ago, and seems like it will run again with minnimal work. It has always been garaged which equates to it being very solid. It has a single carb conversion, but I have the tri carp setup that will only require unbolting of the current setup. Nothing is permanently modified.
The car is very solid and dry, other than a small 2" hole in the drivers side floor, I do not see any other rust, the floors are very nice and all original, the spare tire area is also very solid, the sills are also very solid.
the interior is also complete, and retains the desireable toggle switches.
