I just found this 67 2+2 for sale in Sharon, Pa. The owner, Keith R. has owned the car since 1998 when he brought the car from Texas and started the total nut and bolt restoration. He completely tore the car apart; installed new front floors, went over the frame rails and coated the insides with POR-15 paint, epoxy primed the entire car, changed the exterior paint from silver-blue to silver, many coats of PPG paint and clear coats applied, new wiring harnesses, engine rebuilt by BOFFO Motors, new alum radiator, reduction gear starter, adjustable reaction plate, rebuilt rear end, installed new BAS red interior, etc. etc.
Keith did a spectacular job with the car!
I hope to purchase the car from Keith very soon. Dan Meyers

I have purchased the 67 2+2 from Keith Rowlands and will finish the car to driver quality and hopefully enjoy driving the car with fellow JCOP club members. The car, as of 11-17-13, is owned and garaged in Pittsburgh Pa.

VERY SADLY, I was driving the 67 XKE on 11-21-13 and was rear ended by a drunken driver who was traveling (according to the many witnesses) at over 80 mph on rt. 376 near the Squirrel Hill tunnel in Pittsburgh, Pa. The car has been declared a total loss and i will try to add photos. I am banged up with broken wrist and right knee injuries. According to my insurer, JCTaylor, the car is being auctioned for salvage value. I am very sad about the car. Dan

I have replaced to 67 XKE 2+2 with a very nice 68 XKE Coupe, # 1E35469. I was lucky enough to find it very quickly advertised on e-bay in San Diego! Dan

This 67 XKE coupe is being auctioned as a salvage vehicle/salvage title at the COPARTS salvage auction at Ellwood City Pa. on Thursday, 1-9-14. The high bid is now $8200.00. Dan

From what I was told by COPARTS, the car was sold and went to a dealer in New Jersey, USA. The last bid I saw was for $11600.00; I do not know what the final price was.
