    According to all documenation I've come over the option black exterior/black interior, which the car curently have, was not an option in 1966/1967. However according to the Heritage Certificate aquired this was the way the car left the factory...

    Hi MIkael, that's correct, but if you get the JHT book by Clausager you can also see that a lot of special orders were made, for instance by US dealers, like Op. Maroon/Black, BRG/Black and Black/Black none of which were standard. Normally Jaguar would prefer a contrasting colour, like Tan, Red or Light Blue /Grey. Cheers!
