Sellers description:
A series I E-type roadster for restoration at a reasonable price. This 1967 Series I 4.2 Liter XKE is a roadster conversion from a 1967 2+2 XKE. It is actually a matching number car, but the chassis number is a 2+2 XKE number. The roadster body shell is very dry, but as you can see on the driver's side the car had been in an accident. The bonnet is in nice condition, the doors are solid, the frame rails are very good and as you can see in the photos someone had started this project and got as far as stripping the paint from the bonnet and the boot lid. The car is being sold for restoration purposes. It rolls and steers so it can be transported.
