Now in France, previously Pleasanton, California and photos from that sale.
Seller's description:
1966 Jaguar E-Type (2+2) Series I
Vehicle identification number 1E75966
Condition Category Restoration Project
Number of previous owners 1
Registration date 01/1967
Engine number 7E6865-9
Jaguar XKE 2+2, Series I, not reconditioned, from American first hand.
Title, customs clearance certificate, Jaguar Heritage certificate are available.
The front frame is in good condition. The corrosions are mainly on the side sills, doors and rear wheel arches...it looks bad, but it's manageable.
I myself imported the 2016 E-Type from the USA, as it is stock black and has a manual gearbox and 3 carburettors. But due to lack of time, I haven't been able to restore it yet. (In the meantime I had three children) The car has since been stored in a ventilated and dry barn.
Here is how the car was described at the time:

new; manual transmission; Calfornia car. Stored for several decades and not driven.
driven. Rare original factory black car, by Jaguar's Heritage Certificate.
The engine runs well on all cylinders, correct 4.2 liter Etype block and cylinder head for the time.
Cylinder head, all other systems should be checked before riding.
