    Engine, Gearbox and Body numbers entered 1st December 2024 were found inside the rear cover of the book "The Jaguar E-type" by Paul Skilleter given by the late owner's wife to Clive Arnold November 2024.

    Correction to note dated 2024-12-01:

    1E51270 belongs (or belonged) to a different person. The lady who gifted the books referred to says the books were obtained second hand. Her deceased husband did own a Series 1.5 2+2, but not this one.
