Sold by Fayre Oak Classics of Cheltenham in August 2019. Amended seller's description below.
www.fayreoak.com/autos/1968-jaguar-e-type-series-one-manual/

Series 1.5 2+2 with Series 1 toggle switches fitted. Original UK RHD car. Delivered new to Roe Bros of Sheffield in April 1968, it is still in its original colours of Dark Blue with Black trim. This 3 owner car was purchased by Bob Anderson in 2010 after it had been in storage for over 30 years. A very good runner, this was part of his five car private collection. He spent in excess of £25,000 on parts, this excludes buying the car and his labour.

Many upgrades were fitted to make the car more usable and reliable. These include halogen headlamps, aluminium header tank, Kenlowe fan, uprated alternator, high torque starter motor, copper brake and fuel pipes, Cooper Craft brakes, lightweight aluminium flywheel, sports coils, stainless steel exhaust, polished stainless steel wire wheels and electronic fuel pump.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
