Advertised on carsales.com.au 1st February 2014 with an asking price of $AUS69,000. The advertisement states that the engine has non-original number "L92720S".
Owner's description follows: "This car really is as good as it looks. I am the owner since 1995. The car was garaged and unused by the previous owner for over 15 years in the UK prior to my purchase and after was refurbished over 2 years by me and friends to become roadworthy again. The head was removed, engine areas inspected and found to be in fine condition. The valves were ground and seals replaced. Major replacement of the braking system was completed and then lights and other parts restored to become fully operational with a UK roadworthy certificate.
It was exported to Melbourne, Australia in 2000. The body was stripped to metal and found to be sound and rust free. Then re-painted in British Racing Green ....... Chrome work was removed and refinished. A new head lining was installed. A general refurbishment of the engine compartment and accessories was done to bring up to scratch. The sunroof is fully functional and some body rubbers were replaced. An electric radiator fan was fitted. A booster was added to the ignition to give outstanding start.
The paintwork and brightwork are excellent. The interior is in excellent condition.
The car is a dream to drive with easy steering and light gear change and reflects the fact that it has not travelled too far on road in it's long life. The car is garaged in Rockingham Area, Perth and available for viewing."
