This 1966 Jaguar XKE Series I coupe is a partially disassembled project that was acquired by the seller around a decade ago as a parts car. The tub is finished in light yellow and retains front suspension and partial brake components. The interior has been largely stripped, and the engine, transmission, doors, and hood have been removed and are no longer with the vehicle. This XKE parts car is being offered at no reserve in Wood Village, Oregon with additional components and a bill of sale.

The bodywork wears faded yellow paintwork that shows scratches, dents, and chips, along with an area of cracked and missing paint behind the passenger-side rear wheel. The windshield and rear 3/4 windows have been retained, though the hood, doors, taillights, and trim are missing. The removed rear glass is included in the sale.

The car sits on knock-off wire wheels with older mismatched tires up front and retains partial front suspension and brake components. A narrowed trailer axle fitted with two white-finished wagon wheels has been welded to the rear suspension mounts for transport purposes. The rear suspension and brake parts are not included.

The interior has been stripped, though portions of the dashboard remain, along with the pedals, steering column, and Smiths instrumentation, which consists of a 6k-rpm tachometer and a 160-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 72k miles, though total mileage is unknown. The removed seats and various pieces of interior trim will accompany the vehicle.

The engine and transmission have been removed and are not included in the sale.

This car was purchased by BAT member tjcanning. It was untitled with no records in any official data base (per the seller). BAT requested that the seller remove the data plate to make it clear that this was a parts car. The seller did so, but later stated in the BAT comments section that he would provide the data plate to the eventual buyer. Anticipate that this parts car will reappear as a complete, titled car in the not-too-distant future.
