I OWNED THIS CAR FROM MID 1976 TO 1978. DURING THAT TIME IT HAD ONE ACCIDENT WHICH RESULTED IN A NEW OFFSIDE DOOR SKIN BEING FITTED. iT HAD A FULL RESPRAY AT THAT TIME. THE ENGINE ALSO REQUIRED A REBUILD AFTER IT DROPPED A VALVE. THIS RESULTED IN THE LATER STYLE CAM COVERS BEING FITTED. APART FROM THAT I HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE TIME WITH THE CAR

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
