This vehicle, chassis number 1E21449, is a FHC and not a roadster. It is also a manual and not an auto. It was built 27 October 1966, engine number 7E10451-9. It was delivered in Carmen Red to Brysons Australia (distributors) and is now in NSW Australia (2007). Exterior colour is now Signal Red. Interior has always been black. It has a Heritage Certificate from the Trust and all details match except of course the exterior colour. The advertisement appearing on the website referred to was incorrect in a number of respects including the Tasmanian postcode which should have a 7 prefix and not 3.

    Mike,
    Thanks for the correct information!

The engine bay (bulkhead and forward) including the frames, the engine, gearbox, the cooling system, suspension, steering and wiring was professionally restored to near concours order in 2011. Drivetrain also refurbished.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
