Car is a 1 owner from new and last taxed in 1977 when it was laid up by it's original owner because a young family took over his life.

Bought by me in Feb 2010 with the sole purpose of restoring it to it's former glory with absolutely no expense spared.

1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2
Stunning Semi Light weight E'type with FIA papers. This car was fully restored 5 years ago and built using the original Monocoque with new floors, inner and outer sill, Alloy boot floor assembly, Alloy doors, Alloy bonnet, Alloy fuel tank, Mag Peg drive racing wheels, Alloy leather covered racing seats and Alloy Rad. The engine is fast road on Webers and produces a very usable 300bhp from 1500rpm through to 6000 rpm, it is fully balanced, forged racing pistons, HiFlow oil pump, Gas flowed etc. The suspension is all rebuilt with polybushes and adjustable springs and shocks, it has a quick rack and the correct MK9 brakes.
