This amazing Jaguar is one of the nicest finds we have ever come across. This E-type has had the same owner Since 1978- for 40 years, this is as "Well-Kept" and documented as it gets. Promised by the previous owner to not have ever seen rain, this mostly ALL Original E-Type is the perfect example of what Patina is all about. Because with this car, you know EXACTLY what you are getting. Which is a super low 41k original Mile car with original Paint, original interior, matching numbers and in unbelievable condition. There is one small dent on the right front of the Bonnet near the Parking Light and there is a blemish on the paint behind the right rear wheel. A repaired upward dent on the Deck lid and evidence of a touch up near the rt rear taillamp. It is obvious that the car has 3 su carburetors, and series 1 cam covers installed. All of the original parts are tagged, in bags, and in perfect order that came off of this car and are all included. even the exhaust manifolds for the heat overpass, and the original air box, and all air ducting. The original tool kit was in the original tool roll but it was coming apart so we bought a new roll. The tools were all individually wrapped in oil and in plastic bags to not rust. The car has the original manual, all original paperwork and even has a log book of fuel fill ups and calculations of fuel economy. For the last 40 years this car when not in use was stored in a plastic air filled cocoon storage room with a dessicant bag in place. This car was never hit. never painted, and has original interior in total. It even had the original top on it, but the rear window was broken so we installed a new Bas original concour condition correct top on the car.

So to repeat, the car comes with all the original parts to put it back to perfect 41k original 68 condition meaning we have the intake, the Strombergs, the cam covers, the knockoffs and the air box and all parts and the exhast manifolds. We have the original Green Connecticut title, original keys also. The car has an almost never used ANSA exhaust system that was so new looking we didnt have the heart to take it off..
This is pretty much the "Holy Grail" as to what to go by for Originality and the way everything is Supposed to be on an E-Type. You really must see and drive the car first hand to appreciate. We did not want to remove the original console and original rugs to ck the transmission but the previous owner claims that it has never been changed. however we did not take it apart to ck it as an absolute. We believe it is correct. the car runs and drives like a 40k mile car that is 2 years old.. it is unbelievable.
