Sold by Andrew Walker Cars of Templecombe in May 2022.Listed on eBayUK, seller's description below.www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1968-JAGUAR-SERIES-1-5-E-TYPE-4-2-ROADSTER-LHD-THIS-IS-NOW-SO ...
A Canadian spec Series 1.5 Roadster with triple SUs and UK spec side indicator lights. It was originally Opalescent Silver Blue, and then had a colour change to Opalescent Maroon many years ago. It could be a tidy driver quality example with some welding, body repairs and a repaint or it would be a good candidate for a full restoration back to its original colour.
Good points: Runs and drives fine, goes very well. Good leather interior, 100% complete, excellent Michelin tyres, good chrome work, new black mohair hood included, triple SUs, matching numbers with heritage certificate.
Bad points: Needs a complete repaint; new floor pans have been dropped into place but need fitting correctly and welding; minor damage to bonnet centre panel, front underpan, rear deck and boot floor; current soft top is old and crisp.
It comes with its title document, NOVA confirming payment of all import duties and Heritage Certificate.
