Ebay item 4/29/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-xke-/322085314329
Current bid US $22,100, no reserve, 17 bids 1 day left in auction, 60k miles, seller rustmerchant.

Sellers description:
This car was wrecked in the early 1970:s on the passenger side door and rear quarter, a friend of mine was a bodyman at a shop and bought the car but never got around to fixing it. The car is about 98% complete and will be sold with a transferable NY registration, so export thru us customs is easy? This car has lots of rust but all parts are available to restore. The car has matching numbers for motor, gearbox and body number under rear tag. The top bows are correct for the 1.5 series, and the dash has rocker switches which are correct for a 1.5 series, this car is rusty but is correct. The trunk is open and is 99% intact and the gas tank is inplace along with the wood floors. Registration in hand is a new york one listing me as a owner I'm told its transferable if need be I'll turn into a PA title.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
