AL NUMBERS MATCH
SERIAL NO: 1E16256
ENGINE NO: 7E14832-9
BODY NO: 4E8235
MODEL YEAR: 1968 (Manufactured November 8th 1967)
MILEAGE: 3700 km THIS CAR IS NEW.
It is a complete frame-up restoration. ABSOLUTELY RUST-FREE! The complete body frame, for the exception of the front bonnet (which is a new hood made of light weight aluminum), engine and all engine parts are fully restored. All chrome is either fully restored or brand new. All electrics and body parts including most of the chromed parts are new. The front bonnet on the original car was a "Series 2" bonnet which featured the open headlamps. This was removed and a new Series 1 lightweight (aluminum) bonnet (with the covered headlamps) was installed in its place.
The car has been customized using all of the best features of the Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3 cars combined with modern suspension, transmission and electrics, ensuring dependable performance. For example, the seats are "Series 3", the toggle switches have been replaced with the "Series 2 and 3" "rocker" switches and the front bonnet is "Series 1". The original vehicle never had power steering or a power assisted clutch or power brakes or an air-conditioning system (which was a primitive option) or modern electrics and a modern transmission, all of which, this car has, and much more.
It Is The World's Only Perfect E-Type!
A Blend Of Original Parts With Today's Technology Ensuring Dependable Performance
