Rolling off the Browns Lane production line on the 20th January, 1967 it was supplied new by Jaguar Cars of New York and dispatched on the 6th February to first owner Peter S. Criese. This fine, 4.2 litre Series I remained in the United States until it was registered in the UK on the 20th July, 1994. Acquired via a specialist historic race engineers who looked after it for the former keeper for many years and subsequently purchased by its current owner in June 2015. The vendor reports that the car is a very nice usable example that you can jump in and, importantly, have the confidence that you will get to where you want to go. It has been well maintained and comes with a current MoT test certificate with no advisories. Recent work carried out includes a new alternator, anti roll bar and bushes, rear wheel bearings, steering rack mounts, top ball joints, prop shaft universal joints, front calipers and the carburetors have been overhauled. Finished in red with this beautiful E-Type offers the new owner one of the best examples of iconic British motoring history.
