Car offered by:

Description:
VIN: 1E14580
I purchased this 1967 e-type roadster from an individual that owned it for over 23 years. In the early 1990's he started having the car restored to show condition.
The bodywork was done, the car was painted, the engine was rebuilt, brakes done, etc. The interior was started but never finished. The owner then moved to another state and did not have space in his new home for this car. The car stayed with the mechanic where the restoration was stopped for several years.
I now own this Jaguar and plan on completing it to very nice driver standards. It is a matching numbers car with the rare optional removal hard top. I have a Jaguar Heritage Certificate that certifies the numbers match and that dark green was its original color combination. The body is in superb condition and the workmanship
done up to now is very good. The car came with a complete high quality interior kit; which I will finish installing. Engine sounds very good with excellent oil pressure. I just had all the bumpers, tail lights and miscellaneous bright trims chromed.
The car comes with receipts and many photos taken during the years of restoration. My goal is a very high quality driver e-type, not a show-only vehicle. True show cars are extremely expensive and not very practical. This car will be very good but you should not be afraid of driving it.
Over the next weeks I will be posting photos as I am making progress. October was a very busy month for me with car shows so my time to dedicate to this project was rather limited. Once my schedule calms down things will move quickly. I hope to be completed before the end of 2009.
Price: $69,000
