This is a very nice older restoration Series II Jaguar with some minor rust and body repair done 25-30 years ago. No signs of any rust at this point. Paint is very presentable at 25 years old in the original Sable brown. The seats were redone more recently and are very nice. The rest of the interior could use a freshing up which I have an upholstery kit for and is included with the car. The tan canvas conv. top is in nice cond. also with a nice clear rear window. The engine was rebuilt back when it was restored and is very strong. It could use a timing chain tightening which I may get to before the car is sold along with new valve cover gaskets that are leaking somewhat. The car was restored at about 38k and has 52k on it now . Mechanically it is in good shape with strong brakes , clutch and suspension . It has the Tri Carb SU set up on it from a 67 series 1 E-Type which makes this car much more powerfull and fun to drive. It has an Abarth exhaust still in good cond. with a very nice sound to it. I still have the Twin Stromberg Carb and manifold set up if you want to return it back to stock. The tires are the old Red Lines with good tread but are getting old. This car has not been driven much in the last 5 years so it may need some tuning and misc. work. I have a brand new never installed Black Canvas Tonneau Cover that I will include with the Buy it Now Option.
