Every component has been rebuilt or replaced with no expense spared in this incredible restoration. The craftsmanship is superb as well as the fit and finish. Superior performance and comfort in this classic E-Type Roadster resulting in this ultimate driving machine with some fantastic options. The 4.2 engine was rebuilt to factory specification with new pistons, bearings, valves, guides, seals, timing chain, water pump, head completely rebuilt, rebuilt carburetors, new restored radiator, new clutch system, all new brake components and lines, new drive shaft, new shocks, gas tank restored and epoxy sealed, new fuel pump, new high-torque starter, new restored alternator, all electrical components restored, new wire harness, gauges, knobs, switches rebuilt, re-screened or replaced, new exhaust system and manifolds, new heater system and returns, rear end completely rebuilt. The body was rotisserie restored, stripped to bare metal, metal finished, fitted, painted base coat and clear coat, then color sanded and buffed to a superb finish. All new rubber seals, grommets, and gaskets were used. The trim and bright work has been replaced or replated with all new interior, carpets, panels, and dash. Restored leather seats for additional leg and back room. This was a comprehensive restoration with much time spent on detail and quality. This is one of the finest examples for sale in the world today. A DVD movie of the restoration process comes with this Jaguar.
