Seen on eBay, 12/20/07:

Up for auction this classic 1966 Jaguar, E-Type Roadster, Series 1 4.2 Litre, Red, Black Leather interior, Black cloth top. Starts and runs very well. Mechanically very solid. All 3 SU carburetors overhauled spring 2007 and complete engine tune up. New red line Vredestein tires installed spring 2007, less than 1000 miles on them. Car was repainted several years ago and it is cracking in 4 or 5 spots. The interior is original, but in good shape. Quality paint job and new interior would make this E-Type a very nice driver. Has numerous new parts installed in spring of 2007 : turn signal switch, steering column rebushed, engine mounts replaced, transmission rebound mounts replaced, rear suspension trailing arm bushings and RSU mounts and rear sway bar rubber all replaced, valve cover gaskets, brake reservoir sensors, speedometer cable, speedometer head rebuilt, clutch hose and return spring replaced, new otter switch, and new Ignition switch was installed. Mechanically solid, you can drive it like it is.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
