Sellers description:
1965 XKE Roadster
California numbers matching car was originally delivered new in Santa Barbra. Then sold into Orange County and has been in my possession for the last 28 years. This is a no rust or accident damage on this vehicle. This Jag has been subtly modified to increase its performance and driving pleasure. All modifications were performed so that if an owner chooses he/she can simply unbolt the new parts and they can be replaced with the originals, included in the sale. A partial list of original equipment includes; 4 speed transmission, SU carburetors, 5 wheels (the new on delivery Dunlop Gold Seal spare tire) and various other components books, manuals and original tool kit and jack.

Engine
Rebuilt, new pistons, bearings, water pump, cylinder head; new guides valves and harden seats for unleaded gas. Weber carbs, (original SU's rebuild and included). New linkage, motor mounts, Distributor rebuilt with electronic ignition (petronic), new alternator, headers equal length, (originals included) jet hot coated into a stainless steel muffler system.

Transmission
Tremec 5 speed, new clutch, slave cylinder, pressure plate and aluminum flywheel, driveshaft and u-joint. (Original 4 speed, flywheel driveshaft included.)

Rear end
Complete rebuild including brakes and emergency brake, 4 new Koni's.

Suspension
New ball joints, upgraded torsion bars, kit to adjust torsion bars in place, new brakes and rebuilt calipers, all bushings are polyurethane, steering rack rebuild, with rubber isolator replaced with steel. Six Koni's. Five new 6" Dayton wire wheels and knock offs Chrome with stainless steel spokes. (Original 5, 5" wire wheels and knock offs included).

Cooling
New radiator and surge tank, and electric fan 12 blade. (Original single blade included). All new "lifetime hoses".

Top
New Robbins sail cloth top and tonneau cover.
